Interview With Harbour Way By Matt Bladen
MoM: Introduce yourselves/remind everyone who you guys are. Band name, members, style etc?
Harbor Way: We come from the depths of Port Talbot, South Wales. We're a heavy three piece that likes to combine grunge, stoner and just over all heavy. Two Morgans, Bass and guitar, Toby on drums. We are, Harbour Way.
MoM: How have the last year(s) been for the band? What have you been up too?
Harbor Way: Prior to the great plague, our first two years have been busy, fun and we have been lucky to meet lots of great people from all kinds of scenes and countries. during the pandemic it was tough to stay fresh as a band, but we took this time to focus on what we want from this band and what direction we want to be heading post Covid. Its safe to say that the kitchen is cooking up something hot!
MoM: What experience have you had with Bloodstock/M2TM in the past?
Harbor Way: We entered M2TM last year, such a shame that the circumstances couldn't have been different but we fully understand that it was no ones fault. We're very excited to be in the competition again, this time as a live show, how it should be.
MoM: How are you feeling entering the M2TM format back as it should be? Playing in front of a crowd again?
Harbor Way: We cannot wait to get up on that stage and get Fuel bouncing for our set. We cannot wait to see the other bands. We see M2TM as a massive, countrywide celebration of what local and grassroots metal is. independent venues, independent bands playing in a huge independent festival. It means the world to us to be a part of this event.
MoM: What would it mean to you to play Bloodstock?
Harbor Way: As someone who hasn't missed a Bloodstock since 2018, I struggle to articulate what it would mean. I don't think "bucket list" does it justice. It would mean everything.
MoM: Tell us two truths and one lie about the band?
Harbor Way:
1. We're all golf mad
2. We wrote an hour long song by mistake
3. We have collectively been to Krakow, Poland 15 times between us
MoM: Finally give us a four word rundown of what to expect?
Harbor Way: Just, 13,66,54.
