Bloodstock Metal To The Masses South Wales 2025: Interview With White Leather (Swansea Heat #2)

Bloodstock Metal To The Masses South Wales 2025

1. Please introduce yourself for anyone who may not know you. Tell us a little bit more about you as a band.

We are White Leather. We are a young band who first formed in June 2023 as just drums and vocals, but have expanded to a full 4 piece act. We slowly gained notoriety around the area and have amassed a decent social media presence, with over 5000 followers across all platforms, along with millions of views. Unfortunately, in September 2024 our lead singer moved away, and we have been on a break since then. But now we’re back and ready to hit the stage again with our new lead vocalist Elian, and new songs too.

2. What made you want to participate in the Metal To The Masses South Wales 2025 campaign? Have you had previous experience? Or is this your first time?

This is our first time entering M2TM. Bloodstock has always been a goal of ours as a band due to its scale and dedication to supporting up-and-coming acts. We are also drawn to the competitive nature of the project, just as much as the opportunities to network and experience other band’s music, along with sharing ours with the community.

3. M2TM is all about supporting your local scene. How important is the local scene to you as a band?

The local music scene and grassroots venues are extremely important to us and all local bands. We appreciate their dedication to providing a platform for new music to flourish, and how the work of these types of venues allowed the bands we all look up to today to achieve such great things in the past.

4. What are your expectations from being a part of M2TM?

As part of being in M2TM, we are obviously excited to share our music with the local scene, however we feel that the appeal of the M2TM name may allow us to spread our music to a wider audience as well. Also, the seriousness of this competition has made us focus much more on practices and really fine tune the tiny imperfections in our songs, so we expect that this competition will greatly improve us as a band, and as individuals.

5. What would playing a Sold Out Bloodstock Festival mean to you?

Playing at Bloodstock would be a huge privilege, not just for the chance of playing in front of thousands of people, but also for the opportunity to share the stage with music legends who we have each followed and admired for years.

6. We encourage all the bands in M2TM to try and check out the other bands, who are you most looking forward to? Who should your fans also try to catch?

From our heat, we’re interested to hear and meet the guys from State of Deceit. Not only is it a killer name, but they also have a significant following on social media and we’re interested to see what they do to create such a following.
